HOW TO SUPPORT CHILDREN IN ORDER TO REDUCE CHILD ABUSE
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the UK Children’s Act 1989/2004 all provides the guiding principles that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility including:
- Ensure the child is enriched with adequate basic needs such as habitable shelter, healthy food and water, access to formal education, access to healthcare

recreational centre , access tolocal community safe park and individual places of interest for children with special needs. - Be alert
the signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect without taking any singsof face value.on - Question Behaviours that presence odd to protect the child as early as possible.
- Ask for help
through people you trust and designated professionals: Health Service, Schools, Social Care, Police etc. - Refer to the Social Care service
